Over the course of the last couple of years - CRAZY years :) - a lot of folks have sent me photos of their great cars. So if you're driving something cool, or just something you love, send me a pic, tell me her name and what she is (aren't all cars girls??) and we'll put her here in the garage.

A few readers have sent in their favorite songs for some of the characters. Becky found a song for each of the chop-shop boys on the new Nickleback CD, which was great fun. Here are the songs I actually listened to while writing the books. All told, I usually end up with a play list of between twelve to sixteen songs per book. Feel free to send in any songs you think fit the books or the characters, and we'll see if we get any matches among the readers, or see if somebody comes up with songs I like even better than the ones I used :)

Prologue - Wasteland by 10 Years ( I could really see the plane sweeping down out of the sky as I listened to this)
Honey - Maybe You've Been Brainwashed, Too by The New Radicals (the hip-swaying beat and the tongue-in-cheek irony of the song were so perfect for her :)

Gillian/Red Dog - Bad Love by Lita Ford (so sultry, so Red Dog)
Travis - Far Behind by Candlebox (possibly my most favorite song of all time for a character who feels like my best friend)

Dylan - What is Love from the Night At The Roxbury soundtrack (this isn't so much Dylan as the state he was in during those twenty-four or so hours of the book)

Nikki - Missing You by John Waite
Kid - Savin' Me by Nickleback And then there's Standing Still by Jewel. This song really summed up the whole book for me.

Creed - The Road I'm On by 3 Doors Down (here's another song that made me see a character so clearly)
